A family-friendly Belly Dance Show in Poughkeepsie, NY. Our Live band will fill the house with bellydance tunes and more by Scott Wilson and Efendi, featuring NYC music icons Scott Wilson (oud, vocals) and Avram Pengas (guitar, vocals) with percussionist Casey Bond (Darbuka). In addition, Hip Hop and Ballroom Dancing are featured.

BELLY DANCE STYLE BY AYLEEZA
Have you been curious about taking a dance class or trying the art of belly dance but have been too concerned whether you’re up to the task? In Belly Dance Style by Ayleeza, you have a chance to evolve in a more organic way. Through fun class interaction, emotional movement pieces and dancing combinations, we will create a bridge into our powerful dancing selves. Besides Middle Eastern music, pop and country music will also be used.
A little bit Ayleeza...
Ayleeza approaches her dance and drum choreography as she lives her life, with a multitude of emotional expressions. Her soul, dance and drums are filled with spiritual movement. Her dance training began in 1993, and some of her former teachers include: Aszmara, Tava Naiyin, and Brenna Crowley. Ayleeza currently studies with Mercedes Nieto from Hungary.
Ayleeza started drumming in 1989 and performed in the “Mob of Angels” with her drum teacher and mentor Layne Redmond. She brings many of the frame drum Riqq {tambourine} techniques into her expressive dancing.
Ayleeza toured internationally with the band "ISHTAR”.
